Mpix is geared toward anyone with a camera. MpixPro is for professional photographers. The quality of both is great, but MpixPro offers more products and options.

You should just explain to your client that they are investing in the image...not the paper (or canvas). Obviously, you are doing this for a living, so there's no way you can charge exactly what your lab charges.

Many clients are wanting CDs of their images because they are learning how they can use labs like Mpix to print their own images. As long as your business evolves, this shouldn't hurt you. Offer a custom-printed DVD and DVD case to your clients with all of their images on them. BUT, price it above and beyond anything else you offer. Since they will have the ability to make unlimited prints, it should be a luxury item, and priced accordingly.

With a purchase of a DVD, refer them to Mpix! That way, you know the quality will be fantastic and you don't have to worry about them showing off Wal-Mart printed pictures. Yikes!

I have used MPIX many times before (along with Millers, ACI and McKenna Pro). I really like MPIX but am wondering what the true difference is in the public website MPIX vs. MPIX Pro.

I have many clients who are very saavy with the technology these days and they know about MPIX. I Know my photography needs be outstanding to charge what I do. But I had one client (so far) ask why I charge $$$ for my gallery wraps when she can get them from MPIX for $$$. While I was stunned I did explain why. She excepted my answer but then turned around and asked if she could buy a cd of her images (uummm I wonder why??).

I have signed up for an MPIX Pro account but I'm still not sure how this will make a difference for my saavy clients (who, by the way, does NOT know where I print from).

I was with Mpix and joined Mpixpro several months ago. Both have been outstanding with quick turn around times and customer service. I've not seen a better place! Thank you Mpixpro!

I want to say that I have never had a better experience with any other professional printers. This service provides incredibly fast and high quality prints that are consistent. Mpix Pro is simply amazing!
